Industry Days is the Chicago International Film Festival's hub for filmmakers and industry professionals to connect, share ideas and find inspiration. It examines current and future trends in the art and industry of the entertainment business. The four-day gathering will be comprised of networking events, master classes, panel discussions, workshops, parties and an invite-only competitive pitch session juried by a distinguished panel of industry professionals. IFP Chicago Executive Director Nicole Bernardi-Reis is modeling the first Industry Days session, the panel "The Money is Here! Chicago Financiers, Angels and Instigators."
IFP Chicago will also be co-presenting “The Pitch" on Sunday, October 23, the final program of Industry Days. The Pitch is a curated selection of filmmakers with new narrative projects in active development who will take part in a competitive pitch session. The winning pitch will receive an award of in-kind services. This year's Pitch jury includes Molly O’Keefe (Tribeca Film Institute), Eddie Linker (Forager Films), Aijah Keith (IFC Films) and Rebecca Green (Two Flints).
